    Abstract: A radiation shielding suspension device comprising a support member, a vertical member, a swing arm, an attachment member, a balancer, a spreader bar, and a plurality of straps, being attachable a radiation shielding garment, such as a lead apron is provided. An operator can attach straps to a radiation shielding garment thus offsetting the weight of the garment and providing the operator unbiased mobility along a transverse axis and around a rotational axis.
