  • Patent number: 11402940
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for monitoring the status of a touchscreen at a display assembly. Signals are transmitted to the touchscreen. Where signals received from the touchscreen are modified in a manner inconsistent with expected touch input, a type and a location of damage to the touchscreen is determined based on the signals received from the touchscreen, and a visual representation is generated at a remote device of the type and the location of the damage at the touchscreen.

  • Patent number: 11293908
Abstract: A display assembly which detects abnormal operating conditions, such as gas recirculation or airway occlusion, is provided. An electronic display is located within a housing. An airflow pathway travels through the housing and is configured to accept, circulate, and exhaust air by way of one or more fans. One or more sensors measure characteristics of the air. Weather conditions for a location of the display assembly are gathered, measurements from the sensors are received, and a determination is made as to whether the measurements of the ingested air are within a margin of error expected measurements derived from the gathered weather conditions. An alert is generated if the measurements of the ingested air are not within the margin of error.

  • Patent number: 11243733
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing access to co-located operations data for one or more electronic display assemblies for a number of different clients are provided. Client identifiers are assigned to operations data received at one or more databases from sensors at the electronic display assemblies. In some embodiments, portions of the operations data from a certain electronic display assembly are assigned different client identifiers. In other embodiments, all operations data from a given electronic display assembly are assigned the same client identifier. The operations data is electronically partitioned by assigned client identifier. Upon request, operations data is retrieved for a given client identifier and transmitted to a requesting client device.

  • Patent number: 11191193
Abstract: An apparatus for cooling an electronic image assembly with ambient gas and circulating gas is disclosed. A first fan may be positioned to force the circulating gas around the electronic image assembly in a closed loop while a second fan may be positioned to cause a flow of ambient gas. A structure is preferably positioned to allow the circulating gas to cross the flow of the ambient gas while substantially prohibiting the circulating gas from mixing with the ambient gas. A pair of manifolds may be placed along the sides of the electronic image assembly and may be in gaseous communication with a plurality of channels placed behind the electronic image assembly. A heat exchanger may be used in some exemplary embodiments.

  • Patent number: 11096317
Abstract: Systems and method for thermally managing display assemblies are provided. A closed loop pathway for circulating gas includes a channel located behind an electronic display located at a housing. A fan unit is positioned within the rear channel. A storage area for an equipment storage device is located within or adjacent to the channel and is partitioned by a barrier. A loopback channel accepts a flow of the circulating gas and forms a pathway about the equipment storage device. The fan unit generates an area of relatively high pressure circulating gas compared to circulating gas in the storage area, which causes a portion of the circulating gas to travel through the loopback channel to cool equipment stored at the equipment storage device.
