The respiratory gas hose system comprises a flexible hose line including a flexible sheathing body to surround the flexible hose line, which results in considerably improved therapy comfort.

Abstract: An application device for a breathing mask arrangement includes a base portion, a holding portion structured to support a mask and pivotally mounted to the base portion for pivotal movement about a first pivot axis, a right arm element pivotally mounted to the base portion for pivotal movement about a second pivot axis, and a left arm element pivotally mounted to the base portion for pivotal movement about a third pivot axis. The right and left arm elements are each provided with a contact portion for bearing against a right and a left forehead zone respectively of a mask user. The holding portion, the right arm element, and left arm element can be pivoted with respect to the base portion about the respective first, second, and third pivot axes.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for detecting electrical potentials on a patient. The device comprises an electrode device that is applied in the area of the forehead, this electrode device being located on a forehead support element (6) which is connected to a breathing mask (1). The electrode device preferably comprises at least two electrode elements (9, 10, 11). According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, these electrode elements are connected to a signal processing device which is located in the direct proximity of the electrode elements. The output of said signal processing device is preferably potential-free and communicates directly with a data transmission device, so that the processed signals can be transmitted to a data processing device in a cordless manner, especially by radio transmission. The invention can be used in a patient monitoring system of a sleep laboratory or in a CPAP device.

The forehead support device includes a contact element provided in the application position of the breathing mask for bearing against the forehead region of the patient, and a holding device for holding the contact element in tiltably movable manner.
