Abstract: A feeding teat comprises a tip portion and a lower opening for connection to a container and is formed with an external recess, which is substantially wedge-shaped in cross-section and closed from the interior of the teat and constitutes a guide for an opening instrument. Such feeding teat and an opening instrument are held in a common holder. The common holder may consist of a cover and may be provided near one open end of the cover with clipping means for retaining the opening instrument.
Abstract: A feeding or pacifying teat is provided on its surface with profiled portions consisting of elevations or recesses with respect to adjacent wall portions. At least the body of the teat has an accordion-like wall portion, which is zigzag-shaped in longitudinal section. The tapered portion connecting the body and nipple of the teat has a rough and particularly waffle-like outside surface or is provided on its outside surface with bosses. The plug body has outwardly protruding projections, which are oversize with respect to the clearance between lugs formed on the guard in the opening.
Abstract: A mounting assembly for infants' soothing teats comprising a teat nipple with an integral shaft portion made of an elastic material, a clamp member inserted into the shaft portion of the teat nipple, and a shield type mouth plate mounted on the shaft portion of the teat nipple wherein the clamp member includes an abutment surface and one or a plurality of integral yieldably movable locking elements adapted to cooperate with the abutment surface to safely retain the soothing teat assembly in its assembled relationship.
