  • Patent number: 6020829
Abstract: A remote control for the wireless transmission of control commands from a ansmitter to at least one receiver, with an encoding device provided in the transmitter which effects an encoding of the control commands to be transmitted. In a first transmitter different codes are stored for each receiver. Via a data link between the first transmitter and a second transmitter, which data link can be made temporarily, at least one code is transferred from the encoding device of the first transmitter to the encoding device of the second transmitter.

  • Patent number: 5874819
Abstract: A control system for an electrical motor drive for moving a door between end positions. The two end positions are detected by the control system, and an increment detector associated with the motor drive reproduces the movement cycle of the door. A stop associated with the motor drive marks an end position of the door that corresponds to the open position thereof. This open position is treated as a reference point. A pulse storage device is set to a specific value at this reference point and initiates the beginning of a pulse sequence to reproduce movement of the object between the end positions. The pulse sequence is compared for coincidence with pulses produced by the increment detector upon movement of the door into the opposite end position that corresponds to its closed position.

  • Patent number: 5846151
Abstract: A connection device is provided for the receiving of at least one end of a drive device possessing profile, preferably of a toothed belt or a roller chain with the connection device possessing a negative form of the surface profile of the drive device with which the drive device meshes. In order to create a connection device for the connection by closure with a drive device possessing a profile which is simple to manufacture and easy to assemble, the end of the drive device can be joined with the connection device in accordance with the invention by a joining movement in the plane of the running surface of the drive means and in the longitudinal direction of the drive device profile.

  • Patent number: 5730027
Abstract: Drive mechanism for a drive carrier (17) which is drivable for back and fh movement along a guide rail (10), which is connectable to a correspondingly drivable object, having a drive system (1) with a reducing gear (3) and output head (4) and having a drive web (11) driven by same and connectable to the drive carrier which is looped over a turn-around device intended to be located at the end of guide rail (10) facing away from drive system (1), which drive mechanism is so constructed for the purpose of space-saving storage and/or transportation and also orderly final assembly after connection of the guide rails without the risk of a faulty drive web run, in such manner that the drive system (1) or its output head (4) has a storage section (8) in which the drive web (11), looped over the output head and dimensioned for the total guide rail length, shortened in its lengthwise direction by wavelike folds (13,14) is contained in a small space, together with the turn-around device (12), to which storage section (8

  • Patent number: 5711185
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for driving a door or the like guided in t least two guides using a drive (1) located in a channel formed as a guide track (2) and which consists of at least one turn-around pinion (5), a chain extending over drive pinion (4) and turn-around pinion (5) and at least one carrier element for a door panel or the like attached to the chain. A structurally simple apparatus which is installable in simple manner is achieved by forming the drive pinion (4), the turn-around pinion (5) and the chain together with the guide track (2) as completely preassembled unit (1).(FIG.

  • Patent number: 5351441
Abstract: A sliding door which is moveable back and forth by a stationary drive motor nit, which has a drive pinion meshing with a gear rack attached to the door or the door's bottom rail, the gear rack being made of a series of adjacent rack segments extending in the sliding direction of the door and inserted in a retaining channel affixed to the door, the segments being manufactured as finished molded pieces and attached to each other with uniform tooth pitch along the rack, whereby the rack is low in cost, adaptable to various door displacement distances, and parts which are subject to heavy wear are readily replaceable.

  • Patent number: 5253451
Abstract: A driving apparatus for an object which can be moved to and fro such as a te wing, comprising a guide block movable along a guide rail (1), said guide block being coupled to the object and to a driving member (2,2') movable by a motor and, with the aim of easy assemblage from only a small number of easily manufacturable components, consisting of a guide block component (3), having slidably supported thereon an actuating member (7), and of a manually actuated coupling member (5) spring-loaded towards the coupled position with the driving member, the actuating member (7) being in operative connection with the coupling member (5) through a bolt (8) stationary with said one member (7) and engaging at a sliding edge construction (9) formed in said other member (5) so that, when the actuating member (7) is displaced, the coupling member is brought against the direction of force of the spring acting thereon from the coupled position in the uncoupled position and automatically held in an end portion of the sliding ed

  • Patent number: 5203110
Abstract: A safety arrangement for a motor-driven door or gate used to close building ntrances or doorways, in which a vertically movable overhead door consists of one part or a multiple number of parts. An elastically deformable hollow rubber section is provided at the closing edge of the door, and this hollow rubber section has an interior hollow space with first and second ends. At the first end of this hollow space, there is an air pressure-wave receiver signal transformer, whereas an air pressure-wave transmitter is connected to the second end. This transmitter generates a continuous air pressure oscillation having a first pulse duration and a first pulse frequency when the closing edge is freely movable through a path of motion of the door. The continuous oscillation has a second pulse duration which differs from the first pulse duration, and a second pulse frequency differing from the first pulse frequency when the closing edge strikes against an object positioned in the path of motion of the door.
