Abstract: A bicycle carrier having a pair of frame mounting brackets secured to the frame of a vehicle at spaced locations which include tubular sleeves which extend from the rear of the vehicle toward the front of the vehicle. A rack assembly having a U-shaped support tube with an inverted U-shaped portion disposed substantially perpendicular to two ends extending from said portion toward the front of the vehicle. The ends are adapted to be received within the tubular sleeves of the mounting brackets. Bicycle hanger rods are secured to the top of the inverted U-shaped support tube and extend rearwardly therefrom. A locking hasp is provided to lock one or more bicycles onto the hanger rods.
