    Abstract: A musical instrument support having a clamp for releasably coaxially securing an instrument post to a tubular floor support, or the like. The clamp includes a housing secured to the upper end of the tubular support and having an opening receiving a resilient locking body. The locking body is caused to clamp the lower end of the post inserted in a socket portion thereof by selective operation of a camming structure urging leg portions of the locking body against guide surfaces to effect the clamping operation.
