Abstract: The non-return valve in the air inlet of a pulsating burner includes a flat circular ring of elastic steel. The outer edge of the ring is provided between annular abutment surfaces with a predetermined play. The inner edge of the ring is movable from a closed position to a fully open position in which it has the shape of a truncated cone. The angle between the conical surface of the frustrum and its base is small in the fully open position, on the order of 3.degree., and resistance to opening is extremely small to permit rapid changes between the open and closed positions.

Abstract: Assembly for pulsatory combustion comprising a combustion chamber, a horn and an exchanger part, made through drawing and welding of two half-shells, the separation plate being secured to the inside of the chamber in a recess provided for this purpose such an assembly being applied to domestic heating.

Abstract: A combustion chamber for pulsating combustion is separated by a partition wall (12) into a first chamber (14) to which there is connected an axial inlet (20) for the fuel stream, and a second chamber (16) for diverting the combustion gases through an outlet (18). The gases depart via side chambers (44) from the first to the second chamber at the edges of the partition wall. A hot body (24) is arranged at a given height above the partition wall in the first chamber, said body being intended for being heated during operation to a temperature which is substantially higher than the carbonization temperature of the fuel and which screens off a central area of the partition wall.
