Abstract: A system and method are provided for processing a backhalve of a slaughtered poultry carcass, comprising a back portion and legs, and transported by a conveyor in a suspended manner. The system comprises a back turning device, having a stationary frame and a receiving element movably connected to the frame and configured to receive at least a part of the back portion and configured to be moved in the conveying direction with at least said part of the back portion received in the receiving element during continued movement of the backhalve so as to turn the back portion upside-down; and a separation device for separating the legs from the back portion with the back portion in said upside-down orientation.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for processing poultry slaughter products, the system comprising a first transport line, running at a first speed, and comprising successive first product carriers spaced apart at a first distance, each configured to carry a respective one of the products, a second transport line, running at a second speed, and comprising successive second product carriers spaced apart at a second distance, each configured to carry a respective one of the products, and a product transfer device for successively transferring products from first to second product carriers. The product transfer device is configured such that it each time successively transfers a predefined plurality of products, wherein a location of transfer of a subsequent product of the plurality of products is each time more upstream or more downstream along the first transport line than the location of transfer of a previous product of the plurality of products.

Abstract: Deskinning device for removing skin from a poultry leg product, comprising a first leg end which comprises at least a part of an ankle joint, and a second leg end opposite to the first leg end, the first leg end being arranged at a higher level than the second leg end, wherein the device comprises at least one skin removal assembly which is adapted to carry out a deskinning process, a first skinning roller rotatable about an axis of rotation, wherein a first roller end is arranged at a higher level than a second roller end, a counter skinning member arranged adjacent said first skinning roller, a gap between the first skinning roller and the counter skinning member, wherein the skin removal assembly is adapted to pull the skin of the poultry leg product into the gap and towards the first roller end.

Abstract: The invention relates to a poultry transfer mechanism for transferring poultry bodies from a first poultry transport line to a second poultry transport line. Further, the invention relates to a poultry transport system comprising a poultry transfer mechanism, a first poultry transport line and a second poultry transport line. In addition, the invention also relates to a method for automatically transferring at least one poultry body from a first poultry transport line to a second poultry transport line.

Abstract: There is presented a conveyor belt module for a side flexing modular conveyor belt wherein a width ratio between a longitudinal surface width and a maximum width of eye parts placed centrally along a longitudinal is smaller than a width ratio for eye parts placed on both sides of the centrally placed eye parts. There is furthermore presented a modular conveyor belt, a conveyor belt system, a method for conveying one or more elements and use of modular conveyor belt for conveying one or more elements.

The poultry carcass may for instance be a breast cap, including breast fillets and a breast bone. The invention also relates to a method of providing poultry carcasses on such carrier.

Abstract: A slaughtered animal meat handling device and a method for transporting meat products from a receiving area to a discharge area device are provided. The device includes at least one supply conveyor, a suction transporter and at least one return conveyor. Meat products that are not engaged by the suction transporter are transported away from the transfer area towards the receiving area by the return conveyor. The meat products are reintroduced onto the supply conveyor away for the transfer area, for again being transported towards the transfer area. The supply conveyor and the return conveyor provide a circulation of meat products. By reintroducing the meat products onto the supply conveyor away from the transfer area, the chance of getting the meat products correctly positioned on the supply conveyor with respect to a suction opening of the suction transporter is increased.
