Abstract: An outcome determination device includes a controller a random generator configured to determine an outcome from a predetermined number of outcomes. The device includes a display device, which may in the form of a wheel, having a plurality of sectors. A plurality of illumination devices are associated with each of the sectors. The sectors correspond to the predetermined number of outcomes. The random number generator and controller determine an outcome for a game, with the outcome corresponding to one of the sectors. The controller illuminates the illumination device corresponding to the sector that corresponds to the determined outcome. The illumination devices may be illuminated before, during, and/or after determination of the outcome, and may be illuminated in sequence to produce a rotating effect or may be illuminated randomly.

Abstract: An improved game surface for a table game system includes a random number generator for identifying one or more numbers relevant to determining an outcome of a game of chance. The table game surface includes a game layout, including a plurality of player positions and a plurality of wagering areas corresponding to different possible outcomes. Each wagering area includes at least one illumination source associated therewith that can be switched between an on condition and an off condition. Each at least one illumination source may be configured to switch to the on condition when the wagering area with which it is associated is a winning outcome.

Abstract: A shuffling machine for use with a game of chance having a plurality of possible outcomes includes a base structure and a wheel portion in communication with the base structure. The wheel portion includes a plurality of discrete areas corresponding in number to the plurality of possible outcomes for the game of chance. Each of the plurality of areas includes a plurality of displays configured to show an indicia corresponding to one of the plurality of possible outcomes. The machine includes a selector for identifying one of the plurality of areas and the indicia associated with the identified one of the plurality of areas. Wherein the plurality of indicia are not fixed such that they are not permanently assigned to one of the plurality of areas.

Abstract: A rotary card shuffling and selection machine for use in playing a game of chance includes a wheel supported in a generally vertical plane for rotation about a horizontal rotary axis. The wheel is provided with a plurality of card positions arranged concentrically about the rotary axis. Each card position receives a card bearing indicia suitable to decide the game of chance. The cards are secured in card positions disposed around the wheel such they are oriented face up so that indica on the face of the card, which is relevant to the outcome of the game of chance, can be seen while the wheel is rotating.

Abstract: A random number generator for a game of chance capable of selecting at least two numbers which are relevant to an outcome of the game of chance, includes a blower, a first mixing chamber housing a first set of balls bearing indicia in accordance with rules of the game of chance and a second mixing chamber housing a second set of balls bearing indicia in accordance with rules of the game of chance. The first mixing chamber is in communication with a first selector including a first calling chamber. The second mixing chamber is in communication with a second selector including a second calling chamber. A first valve has a closed position and an open position. In the open position of the first valve, the first selected ball is allowed to pass from the first mixing chamber to the first calling chamber. A second valve has a closed position and an open position. In the closed position of the second valve, the second selected ball is allowed to pass from the second mixing chamber to the second calling chamber.
