  • Patent number: 7771502
Abstract: An air-filter device for a motor vehicle, having a casing and a filtering body separating the clean and dirty compartment, and also having a supporting body for the filtering body and a compression body designed to co-operate mechanically with the supporting body, these bodies being mounted in the manner of sliding drawers in an intermediate mounting compartment; the contact surfaces in mutual sliding bearing of the support and compression bodies are inclined in such a way that the forced stress position leading to a compression of the seal of the filtering body is achieved by displacement of the compression body in the direction of extraction and in that the control device, bringing about this displacement, stresses the supporting body and/or the casing in order to achieve the displacement of the compression body in a forced stress position, at least at the end of displacement.

  • Patent number: 7726266
Abstract: A cooling circuit comprises a cylinder block and a cylinder head block, these blocks each including cooling elements the form of integrated portions of circuit. The cooling circuit also includes at least a first, a second and a third separate external loops for external recirculation or reinjection mounted in parallel and looped on the integrated cooling elements. A circulating pump is connected fluidically to the integrated cooling element and to the three recirculation loops causing the fluid to circulate in the integrated cooling element and in the three recirculation loops. The at least three recirculation loops offer at least one common fluid node and are at least partially overlapping. A single actuator controls the flow of liquid circulating in the at least three recirculation loops.

  • Publication number: 20090071430
Abstract: This invention relates to a double-plenum or double-chamber inlet manifold or splitter, made up of a structural unit comprising two distinct coupled plenums with a common wall, an inlet opening for each of the two plenums and several pipes through each of the said plenums, the said superimposed plenums having substantially flattened general structures and forming, with their respectively connected inlet openings and pipes, two independent circulation circuits running from the entrance at the inlet openings to the outlet at the external openings of the pipes, the said external or outlet openings of the pipes being grouped in pairs, with each pair having an opening of each of the two types of pipes; the manifold comprises two one-piece parts assembled together, in a gas-tight manner, at the continuous assembly areas, a first part incorporating at least the two inlet openings and first portions of the walls of the two plenums, contiguous to the said openings and the second part incorporating the pipes and second

  • Publication number: 20080111092
Abstract: Valve unit with a sliding throttle-chamber, comprising a valve body with an exchange or distribution chamber adapted to receive a sliding throttle-chamber of which the position of translation in the chamber defines ways of fluid communication between a primary inlet opening and at least two secondary outlet openings that can be selectively blocked or released by said throttle-chamber; the sliding throttle-chamber has a composite structure and consists of a first part controlling the fluid communication of said, at least, one secondary or radial outlet opening with the chamber and a second part controlling the fluid communication of the secondary or axial outlet opening with the chamber, the two parts of the throttle-chamber being linked together by a driving link in translation with a dead or non-driving area between the two extreme translation positions of said throttle-chamber.
