Abstract: A spinal fixation system including: a pedicle screw including a screw head, a screw tip opposite to the screw head, a screw body extending from the screw head to the screw tip, and a channel extending from a first opening defined in the screw head to a second opening defined at a side of screw body; a tulip head defining a cavity configured to accommodate the screw head, and defining a slot configured to accommodate a fixation rod; a nail including a nail head, a nail tip, and a nail body extending from the nail head to the nail tip, the nail body including a curved portion that is flexible; and an inserter for the nail configured to cooperate with the tulip head.
