The CE processing core section executes the TL operating system and the CE operating system. The TL co-processor section executes TL system application(s), in accordance with control of the TL operating system and the CE operating system, to produce TL data operands regarding quantified technologies from a large number of MSBTP documents. The TL co-processor section executes TL user application(s), in accordance with control of the TL operating system and the CE operating system, to produce a digital representation of a characteristic of the quantified technology for display.

Abstract: A computer includes an improved computer architecture, one or more computing entities, and one or more system databases. The computer retrieves patent planning data pertaining to a market-technology unit (MTU) from the system database(s). The computer generates a plurality of multi-year plans based on the patent planning data and a plurality of patent positions. The computer calculates patent expenses and value of the MTU for each of the multi-year plans. The computer generates and displays, via a GUI, a digitally formatted graphical representation of each plan, its expenses, and its value. When a selection of a multi-year plan is received via the GUI, the computer finalizes the selected multi-year plan; and stores a graphical representation of it, its expenses, and its value in a system database.
