Abstract: System and methods for key printing may include a control panel operable to receive a mobile device identifier from a mobile device. A property management system in communication with the control panel may assign or allocate a room in a hotel to a guest. A lock server may be in communication with the property management system, the lock server may create a digital key. A virtual encoder may be in communication with the property management system and the lock server, the virtual encoder may transmit a room number, lock information, authorized zones, a start time, an expiration, and the digital key to the mobile device. A key printer may receive the digital key from the mobile device, authenticate the mobile device, and print a physical key based on the received digital key.

Such initiation may include: receiving, at a proxy server, a request from a mobile device to join a guest services network, the request identifying a user of the mobile device; verifying a registration of the user, the registration indicating permission of the user to join the guest services network, to yield a verification; identifying, based on the verification, a media streaming device associated with the registration of the user; and configuring the media streaming device to be controllable by the mobile device, such that control commands are routed from the mobile device through the proxy server to the media streaming device, and streaming content is routed from the Internet to the media streaming device bypassing the proxy server.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for calculating an optimal revenue total yield for both sleeping and function space in a hospitality establishment for a set of demand that includes both group and transient demands. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the revenue optimization problem is characterized as a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) problem and solved using MILP techniques. Preferably, a small value is assigned to the “cost” of a room upgrade and the cost of room upgrades are included in the revenue function to be optimized. In some embodiments of the invention, the actual revenue yield is compared to the optimum revenue yield.
