Abstract: A conference microphone having a housing which encloses plural microphones is disclosed. Within the housing are a directional boundary microphone which includes three cardioid condenser capsules and an omnidirectional microphone. The housing has a rear edge wall and the directional boundary microphone includes an input end facing away from the rear edge wall of the housing. A lavaliere microphone is selectively connected to the housing via an auxiliary microphone input. A microprocessor is linked to a control panel for actuation by a user to control which of the directional boundary microphone, the omnidirectional microphone and the lavaliere microphone are active.
Abstract: A conferencing microphone system includes a conference microphone having a central housing member and a plurality of appendage housing members. Each of the plurality of appendage housing members includes a microphone housed therein, and each of the microphones includes a USB output connected to a USB Hub contained within the central housing member. The USB Hub includes a first USB input/output and a second USB input/output coupled thereto in a manner allowing connection of a plurality of conference microphones together.
Abstract: A blended passive microphone includes a dynamic first microphone, a dynamic second microphone, and a blending circuit adjusting outputs of the dynamic first microphone and the dynamic second microphone.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the accuracy of a sphygmomanometer whereby the user attaches the sphygmomanometer pressure gauge in an airtight manner onto one end of an air passageway located in a stand, draws a known volume of air through a venting valve attached to the other end of the passageway and into a syringe attached to the venting valve, injects the known volume of air into the sphygmomanometer pressure gauge via the passageway and determines the pressure reading on the face of the pressure gauge. If necessary, the user adjusts the bellows of the pressure gauge to correspond with the reading marked on the syringe and repeats the procedure for different air volumes and pressures.
