Abstract: A power head for a powered concrete roller screed includes a handle and a driver housing at a distal end of the handle. A cordless, battery-operated driver is received in the driver housing. A head actuator includes a translatable link extending along the handle and an eccentric cam. The eccentric cam is operatively connected to the translatable link within the drive housing such that translation of the translation link imparts rotation of the eccentric cam about a rotational axis of the eccentric cam to an actuated position. The eccentric cam is adjacent a trigger of a cordless, battery-operated driver and is configured to depress the trigger when the eccentric cam is rotated about its rotational axis to the actuated position.

Abstract: A handle assembly for a trowel. The handle assembly includes a handle body, and a grip mounted on and surrounding the handle body to provide a grip surface for a user of the trowel. The grip including a plurality of individual rings positioned end-to-end on the handle body. The grip and handle body are shaped and arranged for complementary mating engagement configured to inhibit rotation of the grip relative to the handle body.
Abstract: A lifting device for elevating a load includes a telescoping mast having an inner mast section telescopically received within an outer mast section and configured to extend in an upward direction and retract in a downward direction relative to the outer mast section. An emergency brake is secured to the inner mast section and includes first and second eccentrics configured to rotate relative to the inner mast section between an unlocked position, in which the first and second eccentrics are free from locking engagement with the outer mast section to allow retraction of the inner mast section, and a locked position, in which the first and second eccentrics are in locking engagement with the outer mast section to inhibit retraction of the inner mast section. A base of the lifting device may include a holder having a tapering interior for receiving the telescoping mast.

Abstract: An extension handle for bull floats and other tools is presented with an octagonal shaped handle. A connector end is provided to allow for additional lengths of extension to be added to the handle.
