Abstract: In one embodiment, an electronic display assembly includes a circuit board and a plurality of display facets. Each display facet is coupled to one side of the circuit board. Each display facet includes a plurality of display pixels. Each display facet includes a selectable display resolution from a plurality of display resolutions. Each display facet is individually addressable such that the plurality of display facets are configurable to provide heterogeneous display resolutions. The circuit board includes a plurality of facet locations. Each particular facet location is configured to transmit signals to a particular display facet that is electrically coupled to the particular facet location, thereby displaying light on the particular display facet at a particular selected display resolution.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes an unmanned, multirotor helicopter and a fixed-wing aircraft. The multirotor helicopter may couple to the fixed-wing aircraft to support and hold the fixed-wing aircraft. The multirotor helicopter may then elevate the fixed-wing aircraft from a launch site to a release altitude. The multirotor helicopter may also accelerate the fixed-wing aircraft to a release speed and upon reaching the release speed, release the fixed-wing aircraft. The unmanned, multirotor helicopter may then return to the launch site.
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes, impinging a plurality of particles on a target such that electrons are emitted from the target and transporting the electrons from the target to a heat sink through a transporting medium. The target and the heat sink may be separated by a distance. The method further includes cooling the electrons using the heat sink and returning the electrons from the heat sink to the target.

Abstract: Conventional rechargeable batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries, are somewhat limited in their energy storage density. Sulfur-based batteries can provide improved energy storage density, but their use can be hampered by sulfur's low electrical conductivity. Abstract: An improved archery bow includes an improved limb pocket assembly. When properly assembled, the limb pocket assembly includes a generally rectangular pocket body, at least one elongated bow limb, and at least one cylindrical fastener for aligning and securing the limb within the pocket body. When fully assembled, a limb screw positions the limb pocket assembly on the riser and secures the limb pocket to the riser of the archery bow. Abstract: Systems, methods, and software described herein provide enhancements for the deployment and management of converged resources across satellites, aircraft, and ground-based nodes to perform user tasks and applications. In one implementation, a system includes a first physical node that monitors sensor data to determine when the sensor data qualifies for an operation triggering event. Once the sensor data qualifies for the operation triggering event, the first physical node may generate and communicate a notification to a second physical node to initiate a new operation to support the triggering event.
