    Abstract: An LED light source includes a sub-circuit (24) that is connectable via terminals (12,13) to an electronic transformer and to a powered circuit including at least one LED (4). The sub-circuit (24) includes a sub-circuit rectifier (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) that is connectable to the transformer (25), and a constant current regulator (7) and a sub-circuit capacitor (6) that are connected parallel to the sub-circuit rectifier (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d).
