Abstract: A system including first and second lamps, one of an inductor or a transformer, first and second switches, and a control module. The first lamp generates a first output of light having a first color. The second lamp generates a second output of light having a second color. The first and second outputs of light are mixed to provide a mixture of light having a third color. The transformer includes first and second coils. The first and second coils supply power respectively to the first and second lamps. The first and second switches are connected respectively to the first and second coils. The control module alters the third color by controlling (i) a state of the first switch to adjust a first amount of current supplied to the first lamp, and (ii) a state of the second switch to adjust a second amount of current supplied to the second lamp.
Abstract: Methods, software, devices, and systems, for wireless interaction with control systems (e.g., control systems integrated with motor vehicles, commercial and/or residential buildings, appliances, or other complex integrated systems). The methods generally include establishing a first wireless communication channel between a handheld communication device and the control system and establishing a service provider communication channel between the handheld device and a service provider. The service provider communication channel generally includes a second wireless communication channel between the handheld communication device and a wireless communication provider node.
Abstract: A wireless network device comprises R modulation modules that receive R independent data streams, that modulate the R independent data streams, and that apply a multiplexing matrix to generate M modulated and multiplexed data streams, respectively, where R and M are integers greater than one. M summing modules sum portions of each of the M modulated and multiplexed data streams to generate M transmit data streams. M transmitters simultaneously transmit the M transmit data streams during a simultaneous downlink transmission (SDT) period.
