Abstract: A cable box for electrical non-metallic sheathed cable includes apertures near the corners of the box for cable to pass into the box. Screw activated clamps operable from outside of the box wedge the cables against the walls of the box. Offset detents in the walls of the box and the clamps facilitate securing the cable to the box. The box can be part of a mounting assembly for a recessed light fixture.
