Abstract: In a gasoline internal combustion engine having a first and second spark plugs for each cylinder, associated, respectively, with a combustion pre-chamber and with a combustion chamber, engine crank angle of ignition (ECAI) of the first and second spark plugs are controlled as a function of engine load and engine rotation speed, and as a function of a required value of torque delivered by the engine, referring to a single normalized reference surface, which is the same for any operating point of the engine, and which supplies efficiency of the engine as a function of a difference between ECAI of the first spark plug and an optimal value of this angle at which the efficiency becomes maximum, and as a function of a difference between the ECAI of the second spark plug and an optimal value of this angle at which the efficiency becomes maximum.

Abstract: An engine has, for each cylinder, a combustion chamber and a combustion pre-chamber communicating with the combustion chamber. First and second spark plugs are associated with the pre-chamber and combustion chamber, respectively. Gasoline is injected by an injector device directly into the combustion chamber and/or by an injector device into a cylinder intake duct. There is no device for injecting gasoline, air or an air/gasoline mixture directly into the pre-chamber. The engine operates with an air/gasoline mixture substantially corresponding to stoichiometric, for compatibility with an exhaust system having a trivalent catalyst. The pre-chamber is not used for engine operation with poor dosing, but to increase resistance to engine detonation. The engine can thus be configured with a high compression ratio, with a significant reduction in fuel consumption at the same power level. The second spark plug is only activated at low and medium engine loads to stabilize combustion.
Abstract: The device includes an actuation system, normally housed in a sleeping or rest position within a space which is inner with respect to a vehicle rear window, and that can be actuated, following a collision or accident involving the vehicle, a closure element for the space housing the actuation system, provided between the latter and the rear window. The closure element has a pin for breaking the rear window. The actuation system, after its activation, strikes the closure element, making it move, along with the at least one pin, toward said rear window. The actuation system and the closure element travel with the same speed until the end of the stroke of the actuation system, the stroke ending before the actuation system contacts the rear window, the closure element, along with the at least one pin, further prosecuting its stroke until striking the rear window, breaking the rear window.
Abstract: The invention concerns a system for blocking the aesthetic lining of a dashboard, ensuring proper opening of integrated air bag door (5), comprising a list (2), flush within a channel (8) for opening the door (5) containing air bag, outer with respect to dashboard (1) lining (4), and provided with at least a tooth (3) entering within the lining, thus ensuring a symmetrical opening of air bag.
