  • Patent number: 6175483
Abstract: A multi-tap distribution apparatus is encased in an enclosure comprising a boxed shaped housing (2) with one side open and a main body (1) fitted in the opening of the housing. A pair of operating windows (13) are recessed in the main body for mounting and removing thermistors (14). Four connectors (4) are projected into each operating window through insertion holes (13a) in the bottom surface of the window. The connectors are coupled to a current transmission circuit (18) which feeds distribution output terminals (5) with operating currents. Four thermistors can be detachably coupled to the connectors without opening the enclosure. By coupling and detaching each thermistor, operating currents can be passed and blocked to the corresponding distribution output terminal (5). Each operating window (13) is normally closed up with a cover (3) to keep out rain and external noise.

  • Patent number: 6072981
Abstract: There is provided a multi-drop distribution apparatus capable of installed in small space and of allowing transmission of large currents, the distribution apparatus having the same characteristics of a coaxial cylinder. A housing (1) has on its inner wall a groove (6a) interposed between a cable connecting portion (3) and a main line connection terminal (5b). The cable connecting portion (3) and the terminal (5b) are interconnected by a conductive rod (6) disposed in the groove (6a) without being in contact with the inner wall of the groove (6a). A dielectric block (7) is penetrated by the conductive rod (6a) so as to be slidable in the groove (6a).

  • Patent number: 5995005
Abstract: A theft checking system that improves detection precision of theft checking systems. A micrometer samples data of received signals for three periods of a swept signal. A signal analyzer confirms signals that are regarded as resonance signals occurring in each of the first half and the second half of the first period, ignoring noise signals, and determines only whether similar signals corresponding to the resonance signals are present in each of the following two periods. A detection circuit recognizes the presence of the resonance signals and thereby recognizes and notifies passage of a tagged article.

  • Patent number: 5892653
Abstract: A multi-tap distribution box is disclosed in which the positions of the input terminal and the output terminal are selectable. A housing (1) has in the center portion thereof an attachment portion (5) on which main line terminals (5a, 5b, and 5c) are provided. Two terminals are located above, and on both sides of the center of, the housing (1) while the other terminal is located directly under one of the two terminals. A mother board (6) with transmission terminals (7) is mounted on the attachment portion (5) so that the transmission terminals (7) are connected to a select pair of the main line terminals. A branch unit (15) which includes a branch terminal (17) is detachably mounted on the mother board (6) on which a main body (21) with a tap board (20) is in turn mounted. When the main body (21) is mounted, an input terminal (23) provided on the tap board (20) is connected to the branch terminal (17) of the branch unit (15).
