Abstract: A method and device for digital payment transactions is provided. A method for encoding data for use in a digital payment transaction between a cardholder and a merchant includes generating, by a cardholder electronic device, dynamic magnetic stripe data associated with a digital payment card of a digital wallet application stored in a data storage module of the cardholder electronic device, retrieving merchant-related data stored in the data storage module of the cardholder electronic device, and encoding, by the cardholder electronic device, the generated dynamic magnetic stripe data and the retrieved merchant-related data in a machine-readable visual code for use in the digital payment transaction.

Abstract: A method for billing device usage through a data storage system and aggregation includes: receiving, in a device controller, user credentials for one of a plurality of users; detecting, by the device controller, usage parameters of a hardware device; submitting, by the device controller, a new usage transaction for usage of the hardware device to a data storage system including the user credentials and a usage fee based on the usage parameters; receiving, by an aggregator node, a plurality of usage transactions from the data storage system including the new usage transaction where each usage transaction includes user data and a fee amount; generating, by the aggregator node, an aggregated bill for each of the users including based on the fee amount included in each usage transaction associated with the respective user; and transmitting, by the aggregator node, each aggregated bill to a computing device associated with the respective user.

Abstract: Methods and systems for processing an electronic transaction between a cardholder and a merchant using a payment card carried out over a payment network are provided. An example method comprises receiving tokenization data including identification data associated with a token representing payment data of the payment card, and issuer data indicative of rewards information associated with the payment card; receiving a rewards inquiry request from a merchant terminal, where the rewards inquiry request comprises the token and where the token is associated with the payment data for making the transaction; determining the rewards information associated with the rewards inquiry request using the tokenization data; and transmitting the rewards information to the merchant terminal for preparation of a transaction request to an acquirer using the rewards information.

Abstract: A system for processing payment card transactions. A user database stores a plurality of user profiles. Each user profile mappings from a payment card identifier to at least one credit card number. A bill processing component in communication with the database which is configured to: receive, from a credit card issuer system, credit card bill data representing at least a credit card number, a total payable amount and a minimum payable amount; query the user database to match one of the user profiles to the credit card number; and store, in the matched user profile, the credit card bill data.

Abstract: A device and methods for facilitating a sale of an item from a seller to a customer are disclosed. The device comprises a lockable compartment configured to contain the item, wherein the compartment unlocks upon receiving a sale initiation instruction. The device further comprises a sensor configured to detect a presence of the item in the compartment. The device also comprises a gateway module configured to transmit a sale completion instruction for completing the sale of the item if upon an occurrence of a predetermined event, the sensor detects that the item is absent from the compartment.

Abstract: A method for social saving via blockchain includes: storing blockchain data for a blockchain, each block including at least a block header and blockchain data values associated with each of a plurality of social saving communities including, for each community, account identifiers associated with a plurality of transaction accounts issued by a plurality of issuing institutions; receiving a transaction notification for each account for each community, the notification including the account identifier, a transaction amount, and a confirmation of payment from the issuing institution; updating the blockchain to include, for each transaction, a new blockchain data value that includes the account identifier, transaction amount, and a community identifier; identifying a single account for each community; and initiating payment of a reward amount to the account for each community, wherein the reward amount is based on a sum of amounts received for the respective community.

Abstract: There is provided a method and system for making payment for a service at a service station which allow users to make payment even when their mobile devices lose data connectivity and when there is a high turnover of users at the service station. In addition, the method and system can lead to enhanced revenues at the service stations as well as improved user experiences when making payments at service stations.

The method involves initiating a transaction at a receiving terminal, the transaction being defined by one or more transaction credentials and then transmitting mobile terminal data from a mobile terminal, via the receiving terminal, to a server, the mobile terminal data comprising a set of account data relating to the mobile terminal. Subsequently, the method involves extracting the set of account data at least partially from the mobile terminal data at the server and transmitting the set of account data from the server to an account manager, the set of account data being associated with a unique consumer account managed by the account manager. Abstract: According to one aspect of the disclosure, there is provided a method for conducting a transaction between a service provider and a merchant, the method comprising: issuing an account number against which a transaction with the merchant is made, wherein the account number belongs to a subscriber registered with the service provider; assigning a unique reference used to map the subscriber to the account number; and transmitting, upon receiving use of the account number for the transaction, the unique reference and details of the transaction to the service provider, wherein the unique reference is processed against a database of unique references to identify the subscriber to which the account number belongs, for the service provider to associate the transaction to the identified subscriber, based on the details of the transaction. The product has a radio frequency tag attached thereon and the system comprises: two or more scanners attachable to a container for holding the product, wherein each scanner is configured to: (i) receive tag identification data from the tag when the tag is within communication range of the scanner; (ii) generate a signal that is associated with the tag identification data and a time of receipt of the tag identification data; and a computer server communicatively coupled with the two or more scanners, wherein the computer server is configured to: (i) receive the signals from the two or more scanners; and (ii) determine an identity of the product and a presence of the product in the container based on the signals, wherein the presence of the identified product is used for facilitating payment of the product.
