Abstract: A data processor implemented method for gamification of activity tracking to determine a reward is provided. The method includes obtaining activity tracking information from one or more activity tracking sensors, and comparing one or more associated activity tracking target with the obtained activity tracking information to generate an activity tracking level. The method also includes assessing the activity tracking level for determination of the reward, and interfacing with a payment gateway to make payment to an entity associated with the reward, wherein an amount of the payment is dependent on the reward.

Abstract: A method for distributing controlled tokens to a secondary mobile device includes: storing account profiles, each including an account identifier, set of token credentials, and an associated mobile device identifier; receiving a token distribution request from a first mobile device including a first mobile device identifier, recipient mobile device identifier, specific account identifier, and account controls; identifying a specific account profile including the specific account identifier and first mobile device identifier; generating a single use identification value and reservation identifier; transmitting the single use identification value to the first mobile device; transmitting the reservation identifier to a second mobile device associated with the recipient mobile device identifier; receiving the reservation identifier and the single use identification value from the second mobile device; verifying the reservation identifier and single use identification value received from the second mobile device;

Abstract: An authorization request for a payment transaction is obtained, from a given one of a plurality of billers, over a payment network having a standard clearing and settlement time period. Via the payment network, a special IOU approval authorization request response to the authorization request for the payment transaction is passed, indicating that the given one of the plurality of billers will be paid in connection with the payment transaction after expiration of a grace period from a time of the authorization request, regardless of whether funds are available for an account associated with the payment transaction. The grace period is longer than the standard clearing and settlement time period. The payment transaction is not settled until expiration of the grace period.

Abstract: A smart refrigerator including a processor, a memory, and a user interface is described herein. The smart refrigerator is configured to receive user input of a nutritional objective from a user via the user interface, and receive user input of a grocery order including a plurality of grocery items via the user interface. The smart refrigerator is also configured to retrieve nutritional information associated with the plurality of grocery items, and compile a nutritional profile for the user from the retrieved nutritional information. The smart refrigerator is further configured to compare the nutritional profile to the nutritional objective to determine whether the user has met the nutritional objective, and release, when the user has met the nutritional objective, a reward to the user.

Abstract: A system and method for processing an economic benefit between friends on a social network using a consumer identifier, payment card, and plurality of friend identifiers, each friend identifier including a consumer identifier corresponding to another consumer data entry, at least one challenge including a challenge identifier, task identification, threshold number of consumers and a reward; a task identifier and a required action. Upon an indication of completion of a task by the consumer and friends or indication based on performance of the corresponding required action, the consumer and friends can share in a reward.
