Abstract: A protective liner, attachable to the inner surface of a helmet, comprising an inner face and an outer face oriented towards the inner surface of the helmet, wherein the joining of faces gives rise to a plurality of inflatable chambers permeable to water vapour and connected by means of pressurised air distribution channels. The chambers and channels form a single body extending at least along the inner surface of the helmet above the Frankfurt plane. The outer face comprises a layer of rigid material while the inner face comprises a layer of elastic material, whose area expands when the chambers are filled with air, such that the expansion in volume occurs mainly by means of the deformation of the elastic layer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a body made of composite material such as a shell of a helmet. Said body constitutes a multilayer structure where each layer is formed by superposed strata comprising portions of fabrics preimpregnated with thermoplastic resin in which at least some of said layers are formed by woven or non-woven LFRTP-type preimpregnated fabrics. The outer layer is formed by strata of portions of “veil” type or “felt” type fabrics, with non-woven and non-oriented fibers of lengths comprised between 5 and 20 mm. In the method, the multilayer structure arranged in a mold is subjected to the action exerted by a bag that is inflated due to pressure occupying the cavity of the mold.
Abstract: A breathable garment for heating or cooling independently the body of a wearer. The breathable garment includes an inner electrically heatable substrate intended to be facing the body of the wearer in use; a forced air supply mechanism for supplying forced air into the space between the inner electrically heatable substrate and the body of the wearer; an intermediate perforated substrate; an outer waterproof, water-vapour-permeable substrate; and a mechanism for maintaining a gap between the intermediate perforated substrate and the outer substrate, making up an air chamber to allow turbulent airflow across the entire garment.

Abstract: Device for assembly and disassembly of protective helmet visors, such visor being of the type presenting a hinge inwards the inner visor face, one on each visor extreme. The device includes a base component developed to be robustly linked to the protective helmet and a first recess developed to consent the insertion of the visor hinge into such recess. It also includes blocking components interacting with the hinge. At the same time the lever, inserted into the base, has a relative movement with respect to the base between the visor blocking position and visor opening position.
