  • Patent number: 11561123
Abstract: A method for determining a normalized weight of a non-static item is disclosed. Weight data associated with the non-static item is received from a plurality of load cells. A load cell weight for the non-static item is determined based at least in part on the weight data. The load cell weight for the non-static item is received as an input for a machine learning algorithm. The normalized weight for the non-static item is generated as an output for the machine learning algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20140326356
Abstract: A composite hose for liquid gas transfer covered by a material having a high thermal insulation. The hose is preferably Compotec® Cryotec 660 and has the properties of being resistant to corrosion and salt of the sea, to UV radiation, to ozone and to sea water. The hose is covered by an insulation layer, which includes one or more layers of an insulating mattress made of a silicon dioxide gel, preferably Cryogel™ Z. The resulting device has an integrated wall to vapor, in order to give the best thermal protection with the lowest weight and thickness, with completely no passage of water vapor. It is very flexible and light in order to provide an efficient thermal insulation during the process of liquid gas transfer, in particular avoiding the creation of ice on the outside of the hose.

  • Patent number: 7579977
Abstract: A method of measuring the speed of air in a zone of the atmosphere by the Doppler effect by means of a radar, the method comprising the steps of transmitting bursts of three pulses at different rates F1, F2, F3; determining respective speeds V1, V2, V3 of the air from the pulses received in return from the pulses in each burst; and calculating the speed V of the air from the speeds V1, V2, V3 determined for the returned pulses received for each burst.
