    Abstract: An improved glass panelled fireplace screen has sliding doors within a frame. The joints between the doors and the frame and between adjacent doors provide novel seals for effectively impeding the passage of air when the doors are in closed position. The screen includes thermostatically operated means which automatically opens the draft control when a fire is burning in the fireplace and which closes the draft control when the fire is out.
