Abstract: Computer-implemented system and method for conducting borehole image interpretation, by analyzing data relative to geological features planes orientations and the associated striae data, automatically checking the data consistency, visualizing the data in specify graphical components, performing geometrical data classification, performing stress and strain analysis to assess principal axes orientations and stress ratios, and visualizing the results in specific graphical components, including the application of inversion algorithms to calculate principal stress orientations by using specific graphical components to visualize input data and results.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining first final values of a first geomechanical parameter of a first well in a first rock structure. The method comprises obtaining first input data from a database. The first input data is generated, at the first well, by at least one first tool module and comprises first well parameters of the first well. The method further comprises calculating first intermediate values of the first geomechanical parameter of the first well using a first porosity-based model and the first input data. First final values of the first geomechanical parameter of the first well are determined from the first intermediate values and the first input data using a first prediction model.
