  • Patent number: 4393281
Abstract: A dual inline package switch assembly containing one or more separate electrical switches is disclosed which comprises an insulating housing consisting of a base and a cover to provide an interior space. The cover has at least one slit extending into the interior space in alignment with the switch. At least one actuating member is movably provided within the interior space and is formed integrally with an operating stub positioned in the slit for selectively braking and making an electrical connection between a pair of contacts fixed on the base in aligned and spaced relation. The slit has a center neck whose width is slightly smaller than the diameter of the operating stub for detenting movement of the actuating member. The actuating member side walls is positioned on housing base rails to maintain constant pressure between the actuating member conductive bridging strip and fixed pair of contacts.

  • Patent number: 4156820
Abstract: A miniature contactless switching unit is disclosed for use in various kinds of position sensors with a magneto-electro converter. The miniature contactless switching unit includes a molded block case in which a permanent magnet and the magneto-electro converter are oppositely disposed, and a screening member for screening magnetism, which operates in accordance with the movement of a moving member, whereby when the moving member is in a first position, the screening member is not disposed between the magnet and the magneto-electro converter to hold the output of the converter in a first switching state, while when the moving member is in a second position, the screening member is disposed between the magnet and the converter so as to prevent the magnetic flux from said magnet to the converter to hold the output of the converter in a second switching state.

  • Patent number: 4075442
Abstract: A miniature slide switch assembly in which a fixed base member, has a pair of opposite longitudinal side surface, molded out of any suitable insulating material. Each of the side surface is provided with a pair of recesses. At least two adjacent molded fixed contacts are disposed in the longitudinal direction of the base member. A movable casing member slidably rides on the base member in such a manner that it can slide in the direction of the array of the fixed contacts, each of opposite side surfaces of the movable casing member having a resilient detent bar. The resilient detent bar is provided with, at the top end thereof, a finger capable of being alternately snap fitted into the recesses, and an electrically conductive inversed U-shaped strip is accommodated in the cavity of the movable casing member.
