Abstract: The present invention relates to an instantaneous adhesive composition which is satisfactorily made thixotropic or gelled and has a rapid setting time and an excellent adhesive strength, said composition being obtained by adding to an .alpha.-cyanoacrylate a silica gel treated with a silyl isocyanate.
