  • Patent number: 8038914
Abstract: In a method for producing a molded article having a resin part, the resin part is injection-molded to an opening of a main body part and the molded article has an excellent air-tightness between the resin part and the main body part. A foam sealant is attached to a peripheral portion around the opening of the main body part. Attached to the main body part is a retainer made of the same kind of resin as injected resin and adapted to keep the foam sealant compressed in its thickness direction. The main body part is placed within a mold so that the retainer is exposed inside a cavity of the mold. A molten resin is injected into the cavity of the mold. The injected resin and the retainer are integrated into the resin part.

  • Publication number: 20110057648
Abstract: A magnetic resolver includes a stator core made of magnetic material, coils, and a rotor. The stator core has a base plate and protrusions formed integrally with the base plate so as to protrude from a surface of the base plate in the thickness direction. The coils are provided around the respective protrusions. The rotor is disposed so as to face the surface of the base plate with the coils interposed therebetween. The overlapping area between the rotor and each of the protrusions changes with a change in a rotation angle of the rotor relative to the stator core. The stator core has through-holes that pass through the base plate and the respective protrusions in the thickness direction.

  • Patent number: 7824194
Abstract: A case with a connector integrally formed with a resin connector, and can be manufactured with a small number of processes is provided. The connector case includes a housing, a resin connector, and a ground terminal extending along an outer periphery of the connector. A terminal-side fixing portion extending backward from the ground terminal is crimped to or pressed over a housing-side fixing portion. When molds are closed after the housing and the ground terminal are placed in the molds for injection molding of the resin connector, a pressing portion formed on the mold presses the terminal-side fixing portion against the housing-side fixing portion to crimp or press the terminal-side fixing portion to or over the housing-side fixing portion. As a result, in the process for the injection molding of the connector, the ground terminal is fixed to the housing at the same time. The connector case with the ground terminal fixed to the housing can be manufactured in a small number of processes.

  • Publication number: 20100066062
Abstract: A horn switch mechanism 15 has a securing pin 31 serving as a support member, a movable member 32 serving as an insulating portion, a compression coil spring 35 serving as an urging member, and a contact terminal 34 serving as a movable contact. The securing pin 31 is fixed to a metal core 12 of a steering wheel body 11 and supports a bag holder 21 in such a manner that the bag holder 21 selectively proceeds toward and retreats from the metal core 12. The movable member 32 is arranged between the securing pin 31 and the bag holder 21 and electrically insulates the securing pin 31 and the bag holder 21 from each other. The coil spring 35 urges the bag holder 21 away from the metal core 12. The contact terminal 34 moves together with the bag holder 21. When the bag holder 21 moves toward the metal core 12 against the urging force of the compression coil spring 35, the contact terminal 34 contacts the securing pin 31 and permits conduction between the contact terminal 34 and the securing pin 31.

  • Patent number: 7374200
Abstract: In a head protecting air bag device according to the present invention, a clip for attaching an attaching portion of an air bag to a fixing part on the side of a vehicle body includes a clip body and a locking part. The clip body has a shaft having a pair of securing legs protruded. The pair of securing legs are inserted in the fixing slot of the fixing part from an in-vehicle side via the attaching slot of the attaching portion and secured to the peripheral edge on an out-vehicle side of the fixing slot. The shaft is composed of a shell member of a metallic plate on the outer periphery and a core member of synthetic resin on the inner periphery. The core member is arranged on the opposite sides of a pair of securing lugs of the shell member. The core member has an inserting space in which a spacer of the locking part is inserted between the pair of securing lugs. The spacer limits the mutual approaching of the pair of securing legs.

  • Patent number: 6508485
Abstract: A horn switch includes a stationary member, a movable member, a spring and a connecting bolt. The stationary member has a stationary contact and is supported on a steering wheel body The movable member has a movable contact and is arranged above the stationary member. The connecting bolt allows downward movements of the movable member and prescribes a distance of the movable contact from the stationary contact. The connecting bolt is provided with a head and a shank. The head abuts against an underside of the stationary member. The shank extends upward from the head to be fastened to a threaded hole in the movable member. Prior to fastening, the connecting bolt is temporarily fixed to the stationary member by latch legs. The latch legs latch a lower surface of the head in a manner to permit the connecting bolt to be fastened to the movable member.
