Patent number: 7113161Abstract: An influence of a switching noise caused by a horizontal shift clock to an oscillation frequency of a voltage controlled oscillator should be eliminated, to prevent an image shift in a PAL skip period. For this purpose, an odd number line horizontal shift clock from an odd number line horizontal shift clock generator and an even number line horizontal shift clock from an even number line horizontal shift clock generator are switched by a horizontal shift clock switching circuit, to be input to a color LCD panel. The horizontal shift clock switching circuit selects and outputs either the odd number line horizontal shift clock or the even number line horizontal shift clock according to a line identifying signal, in a normal period. By contrast, in a PAL skip period a selecting state of the shift clock is inverted immediately upon start of a PAL skip period, from a selecting state right before the start of the skip period, and the selecting state is again inverted in half a cycle of a horizontal scanning period.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2003Date of Patent: September 26, 2006Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshio Nirasawa, Yuji Amano, Norihide Kinugasa

Patent number: 7007138Abstract: In a resource request arbitration apparatus according to the present invention, a request masking unit masks a memory access request REQ that is issued by a resource requesting device at over a minimum frequency needed for the resource requesting device, and an arbitrating unit acknowledges one of the memory access requests RREQ that are not suspended by the request masking unit, based on a predetermined static order of priority. With this resource request arbitration apparatus, the arbitrating unit do not have to concern anything other than the predetermined priority order among the memory access requesting units, and an easy and plain arbitration system based on the static priority order ensures the minimum frequency for acknowledging the resource requests that each memory access requesting unit needs.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2003Date of Patent: February 28, 2006Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tetsuji Mochida, Kosuke Yoshioka, Tokuzo Kiyohara

Patent number: 6814893Abstract: A conductive adhesive agent of the invention contains an elution preventing film-forming agent 4, which becomes reactive after electric continuity through a conductive particle 3 appeared in the conductive adhesive agent when a binder resin 2 is being hardened, to thereby form an elution preventing film 5 on a surface of the conductive particle 3. By using this conductive adhesive agent, the packaging structure is made migration resistant and sulfurization resistant.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2003Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroaki Takezawa, Yukihiro Ishimaru, Takashi Kitae, Tsutomu Mitani, Tousaku Nishiyama

Patent number: 6545446Abstract: In a cellular phone of the invention, a rechargeable battery is used as a power supply to feed power to a second load and a regulator via a charging current detector circuit and a charging switch when an external power is not fed. The power is converted to an optimum voltage by the regulator and fed to a CPU and a load. When the external power is fed, the rechargeable battery is recharged and the charging current is detected by the charging current detector circuit. While a variation in the load is caused by a change in the operating state of the cellular phone from the call termination ready state to conversation state, or while a variation in the second load is caused by lighting of a key backlight, the current flowing in the charging current detector circuit stays constant and the correct charging current can be detected exclusively.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2002Date of Patent: April 8, 2003Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yasuhiro Isomichi, Hiroyuki Oku

Publication number: 20030012115Abstract: An optical information recording medium includes a plurality of recording layers, a reflectance of at least one of the plurality of the recording layers in a non-initialized state with respect to a light beam for initialization being smaller than a reflectance of the same in an initialized state with respect to the light beam for initialization. The recording layers are initialized by irradiating, among the plurality of recording layers, the recording layer positioned farther from a light beam irradiation side with the light beam prior to irradiating the recording layer positioned closer to the light beam irradiation side, so that the initialized recording layers have no initialization irregularities.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 12, 2002Publication date: January 16, 2003Applicant: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tetsuya Akiyama, Naoyasu Miyagawa, Kenichi Nishiuchi, Takashi Nishihara

Patent number: 6307897Abstract: A received signal obtained from an antenna is subjected to high-frequency amplification. The amplified signal is supplied to a first bandpass filter, which extracts only signals of all the channels of a communications system concerned while filtering out other radio signals. The extracted signals are frequency-converted by using a local oscillation frequency, and only a desired wave is passed by a second bandpass filter. The desired wave is supplied to a sample-and-hold circuit, which performs sampling according to the bandwidth-limiting sampling theorem. A resulting discrete signal is supplied to an I-axis-component and Q-axis-component separating circuits, where the polarity of sample values is inverted for every other clock pulse with respect to each of the I and Q axes to thereby effect Hilbert transform. Resulting two orthogonal components on a phase plane are supplied to a complex coefficient filter.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 1999Date of Patent: October 23, 2001Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Gen-ichiro Ohta, Kazunori Inogai, Hiroaki Sudo, Fujio Sasaki

Patent number: 6120188Abstract: An inexpensive bearing unit having a high rotational accuracy and a high reliability is provided for use in information and video-acoustic equipments. In the case of an oil-impregnated sintered bearing (1) in which an inner surface (2) sliding together with a shaft is formed on the bearing body (1) made of a porous sintered alloy, a plurality of concavities (4) are transferred to a tapered portion of the bearing inner surface (2) by forming a part or the whole of the inner surface (2) into a tapered shape or a tapered-like shape at the time of molding a green compact of the sintered alloy and press-fitting a pin (5) formed with protrusions (6) in the subsequent process and moreover, concavities (7) in which the shaft sliding surface is closed are formed by sizing the tapered portion straight at the time of sizing. Because the concavities (7) making a superior dynamic-pressure effect can be formed in a simple process, it is possible to provide an inexpensive bearing unit having a high rotational accuracy.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 1998Date of Patent: September 19, 2000Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industiral Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroyasu Fujinaka, Shigeru Otsuka
