Abstract: There is disclosed a noise suppression device capable of improving the noise suppression accuracy while reducing the audio distortion. In this device, a suppression unit suppresses a noise component from the audio power spectrum by using the detection result of the audio-existing band and the noise band in the audio power spectrum including the noise component. A pitch harmonic structure extracting unit (105) extracts a pitch harmonic power spectrum from the audio power spectrum. An audio-existence judgment unit (106) judges whether the audio power spectrum has audio existence according to the extracted pitch harmonic power spectrum. A pitch harmonic structure repair unit (108) repairs the extracted pitch harmonic power spectrum.

  • Publication number: 20070194730
Abstract: Problems with accuracy reading position detection signal peaks and minute phase differences in the detection current make motor drive control easily susceptible to differences in motor characteristics. The rotor position is determined based on whether or not a neutral point difference voltage, which is the difference voltage between the neutral point voltage and the pseudo-neutral-point voltage when the motor phases are selectively energized, exceeds a specific threshold value. The phase energized to start the motor is determined based on this determination and the motor is energized accordingly to start. Instead of switching directly from the search step at the initial rotor position to the back-EMF voltage mode, a search and start mode that creates initial rotor speed sufficient to start the motor is executed before entering the back-EMF voltage mode.

  • Publication number: 20070067379
Abstract: A reconfigurable data processing apparatus. In this apparatus, many cells A 100 for performing ALU processing and cells B 150 for performing bit processing are arranged, each cell includes n-bit input/output ports and the cells are connected through a network with n-bit buses. Furthermore, when the number of output bits is smaller than n, cell B 150 fixes bits of orders irrelevant to outputs to “0” or “1.” When the bussed ALU processing part and bit processing part are combined to perform data processing, this makes it possible to execute ALU processing and bit processing efficiently and realize high-speed, parallel processing.

  • Publication number: 20060172716
Abstract: An interference symbol determining section 208 compares reception power of a signal at an interference position measured by an interference position reception power measuring section 208B with a reception power value of a desired signal measured by a desired signal measuring section 208D for each subcarrier, thereby determines symbols which should be actually treated as interference symbols and outputs the symbols to a turbo decoding section 209. The turbo decoding section 209 determines whether to calculate LLR values of symbols of each subcarrier signal input from a demodulation section 207 or set the LLR values to “0” based on the comparison result of the interference symbol determining section 208 and executes decoding processing.

  • Patent number: 6023491
Abstract: A QPSK modulation signal is processed with frequency conversion into an IF signal by a channel selection circuit, and then is converted into a baseband signal by a quadrature demodulator. The baseband signal has a wave thereof shaped by DTFs and then sent to a carrier recovery circuit. An offset frequency of the IF signal detected by an AFC circuit is compensated for by a baseband frequency converter including a complex multiplier and a DVCO. The frequency tracking circuit detects whether an operating frequency of another DVCO in the carrier recovery circuit goes beyond a range. By tracking an oscillation frequency of the DVCO in the baseband frequency converter so as not to go beyond the reference value, frequency deviation of the spectrum of signals which are input to the DTFs is controlled not to go beyond the reference value.

  • Patent number: 5297074
Abstract: Disclosed is a roll-off filter apparatus having a small size, a simplified circuit structure and consuming a small amount of power. In the roll-off filter apparatus attaining the above object of the invention, a ramp signal generated from a ramp pattern generator is inserted in each gap of a data input signal temporarily stored in a buffer circuit, and such a signal is filtered in a switched capacitor filter having a roll-off filter characteristic. The output signal of the switched capacitor filter is supplied to be temporarily stored in a bucket brigade device, and the output signal of the bucket brigade device is delivered at a desired signal rate.
