  • Patent number: 7230650
Abstract: The present invention is relative to a video signal transmitting/receiving system in which digital video signals are transmitted from a transmitter (30) to a receiver (50) using a line (9) as a transmission channel. The transmitter (30) converts the video signals to be transmitted to a bit string longer in data length than a pixel making up the video signals, allocates a plural number of the bit strings to a blanking period during which pixel data in the pixel string is not transmitted and, using these bit strings, transmits the same superposed data a plural number of times. The receiver (50) extracts the specified bit strings indicating the blanking period from the received data and performs majority processing on the results of demodulation of the extracted bit strings to decide on output data. This reduces errors in reception of supplementary data to simplify the circuit structure as well as to ameliorate the error rate.

  • Patent number: 5550826
Abstract: A communication protocol can communicate data among apparatus by a simple procedure efficiently. In an AV center (1) (D2B control unit (1a), for example, a communication mode thereof is set in the master transmission mode, and a packet of one frame is transmitted to a TV (2). In the TV 2 (D2B control unit (2a)), its communication mode is set in the slave reception mode. When a packet of one frame from the AV center (1) is received by the TV (2), a communication between the AV center (1) and the TV (2) is ended.

  • Patent number: 4472124
Abstract: A device for producing information recording disks comprises a stamper mount for placing a stamper thereon, a stamper-fixing shaft for fixing the stamper, and a pressing plate for pressing a backing plate toward the stamper after a liquid resin is injected in the space between the backing plate and the stamper. Injection is effected via a passage made at the center of the stamper mount, and the injected resin is stretched outwardly radially by pressing the backing plate. An ultraviolet ray is irradiated to the stretched resin through the backing plate to harden the resin. An injection valve movably received in the stamper-fixing shaft may be used so that uninjected resin is prevented from being hardened. The injection valve may have a center projection as well as a flange portion at its top so that machining for making a center hole of the disk is unnecessary. The periphery of the flange portion may be wetted by the resin before the backing plate is placed on the flange portion.

  • Patent number: 4106032
Abstract: Apparatus for applying droplets of colored liquid to a surface includes a chamber divided into a liquid chamber portion and an air chamber portion. The liquid chamber portion includes an intake channel connected to a liquid supply container and a discharge channel through which the liquid is discharged for deposition on the surface. A pressure producing means is in contact with the liquid chamber portion to produce periodic pressure increases in the liquid in the chamber portion to eject it through the discharge channel to the atmosphere in a series of droplets. The air chamber portion includes an intake channel connected to a source of pressurized air and a discharge channel axially aligned with the discharge channel of the liquid chamber portion to allow the air to be discharged therethrough to the atmosphere at a high speed. The liquid droplets are thus discharged through the two axially aligned discharged channels and accelerated by the stream of air along their passage to the surface.
