Abstract: An illumination apparatus includes a light source (1), a first integrator (11) into which light from the light source (1) enters, and a second integrator (33) into which light exiting from the first integrator (11) enters. Accordingly, the aperture shape of the first integrator (11) can be optimally designed, so that the light utilization efficiency can be increased. Furthermore, even when the length of the first integrator (11) is reduced, a deficiency in the light uniformity due to the first integrator (11) is compensated for by the second integrator (33), so that high uniformity can be secured at the surface to be illuminated.

Abstract: A peaking current generating section (2) generates a spire-shaped peaking current that is in synchronism with the transitions of the digital signal (S), at the rising edge and the falling edge. A light emitting element driving section (5) produces a driving current obtained by combining together a signal amplitude current according to the amplitude of the digital signal (S) and the peaking current. Then, the light emitting element driving section (5) drives a light emitting element (1) by using the driving current. A signal analysis section (9) analyzes the digital signal (S) so as to set a control signal based on the pulse width of the digital signal (S). A clipping section (8) clips the peaking current of the driving current according to the control signal set by the signal analysis section (9).

Abstract: In a control method of a multi-jointed manipulator, the manipulator is controlled through a process to transmit a difference between an end position of the manipulator and a target position to the joint axes, and a process to adjust joint displacements and joint velocities of the joint axes independently of one another of the joint axes based on the difference, these processes being repeated until the end position coincides with the target position. By such a manipulator control method, there can be realized position control which is robust against ambient environments and which is easy to achieve even with redundancy or nonlinear drive elements involved.

  • Patent number: 7746180
Abstract: This invention relates to a phase-locked loop circuit and a data reproduction apparatus, which can reduce a processing time that is required for initial adjustment in the data reproduction apparatus. In a digital data reproduction apparatus having two control functions, i.e., phase and duty adjustments for binarized data, the phase comparison with one edge is performed only at the phase adjustment by means of a phase-locked loop circuit 33 having an edge switching means 4 which controls the phase comparator 1. The phase comparator 1 inputs the binarized and a bit synchronous clock, and switches the output between a comparison result with one edge, i.e., a rising edge or a falling edge of binarized data, and a comparison result with both edges.
