Patent number: 7418511Abstract: A communication system includes a device and a server connected to the Internet, which transfers communications between the device and a terminal connectable to the Internet via the server. The device periodically transmits a notice packet to the server. The server transmits a connection request packet to the device in reply to the notice packet when a transfer to the device is requested from the terminal. The device transmits a TCP connection request to the server when receiving the connection request packet from the server. The server accepts the TCP connection request transmitted from the device to the server in reply to the connection request packet, to establish the TCP connection. Thus, the server transfers communications between the terminal and the device on the TCP connection after the TCP connection is established.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2003Date of Patent: August 26, 2008Assignee: Matsushita Electric Indutrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideaki Takechi, Naonori Kato, Hidetoshi Takeda, Toshiki Yamamura, Shinji Hamai, Tadashi Kunihira

Patent number: 7359457Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes a frame configuration determiner that determines a modulation system from among a plurality of modulation systems on a communication situation. A first symbol generator modulates a digital transmission signal according to the modulation system determined by the frame configuration determiner and generates a first symbol, the first symbol comprising a first quadrature baseband signal. A second symbol generator modulates the digital transmission signal according to a predetermined modulation system and generates a second symbol, the second symbol comprising a second quadrature baseband signal.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2004Date of Patent: April 15, 2008Assignee: Matsushita Electric Indutrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yutaka Murakami, Shinichiro Takabayashi, Masayuki Orihashi, Akihiko Matsuoka

Patent number: 7353012Abstract: If it is judged by a signal from a first signal processing unit that a signal of a first communication system is not received and it is judged by a signal from a second signal processing unit that a signal of a second communication system is received, wireless communication is performed by the second communication system. If it is judged that the signals of the first and the second communication systems are received, a system judging unit judges which communication system is to be used for the wireless communication, based on the signals from the first signal processing unit and the second signal processing unit. If the wireless communication is to be performed by the first communication system, diversity reception or transmission is performed by first and second antenna elements.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2005Date of Patent: April 1, 2008Assignee: Matsushita Electric Indutrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kentaro Miyano, Junji Sato

Patent number: 7281908Abstract: An electrically powered blower configured to be capable of fully cooling its motor and of efficiently cooling a power element in a drive circuit without involving such need as of increasing the size of a fin of a separate heat radiator, contributing to miniaturization of electric equipments. The electrically powered blower includes a power element (10) provided in a drive circuit (9) and connected to a motor casing (B). Since the motor casing (B) serves as a cooling fin for the power element (10), a great effect on cooling can be obtained, and a heat radiator separate from the motor casing is not required, thus contributing to miniaturization of electric equipments.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2002Date of Patent: October 16, 2007Assignee: Matsushita Electric Indutrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Katsutoshi Fujita, Makoto Ueno, Shigeaki Fujiki, Tetsuo Shimasaki

Patent number: 7281189Abstract: A transmission apparatus and method turbo-encode data and output systematic bit and parity bit data. The systematic bit data and the parity bit data are modulated independently of each other such that communication quality is better when a modulation scheme for the systematic bit data is changed than when a modulation scheme for the parity bit data is changed. The systematic bit data and the parity bit data are then transmitted.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2003Date of Patent: October 9, 2007Assignee: Matsushita Electric Indutrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hiroaki Sudo

Publication number: 20060092972Abstract: The invention concerns a method of managing a plurality of parallel hybrid ARQ processes including at least one of a reserved and/or additional HARQ process comprising the step of scheduling the available HARQ processes for transmission in accordance with at least one resource allocation parameter. Furthermore, the invention discloses a method of a plurality of hybrid HARQ processes including at least one of a reserved and/or additional HARQ process in a mobile communication system, wherein data flows are transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver comprising the steps of scheduling a number of transmission time intervals (TTI) in advance for a plurality of HARQ processes for transmission to the receiver, the step of predicting the channel conditions for the transmitted HARQ processes over at least one of the scheduled TTI and the step of assigning HARQ processes for transmission in accordance with the predicted channel conditions.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 24, 2003Publication date: May 4, 2006Applicant: MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUTRIAL COInventors: Dragan Petrovic, Eiko Seidel, Christian Wengerter
