  • Patent number: 6143626
Abstract: On a semiconductor substrate are successively deposited a silicon dioxide film and a silicon nitride film. The silicon nitride film, the silicon dioxide film, and the semiconductor substrate are sequentially etched using a photoresist film with an opening corresponding to an isolation region, thereby forming a trench. After depositing a diffusion preventing film, there is deposited an insulating film for isolation having reflowability. Although a void is formed in the insulating film for isolation in the isolation region, the insulating film for isolation is caused to reflow, thereby eliminating the void. After that, the whole substrate is planarized by CMP so as to remove the silicon nitride film and the silicon dioxide film, followed by the formation of gate insulating films, gate electrodes, sidewalls, and source/drain regions in respective element formation regions.

  • Patent number: 6141983
Abstract: The constitution comprises a grille for sucking air, a heat exchanger for exchanging heat with the air, a blower for feeding the air exchanged of heat by the heat exchanger, and an air diffuser for blowing out the wind generated by the blower. The air diffuser has such a shape that the direction of the wind blown out from both ends in a horizontal direction may be the lower direction than the direction of the wind blown out from the center in the horizontal direction. The air diffuser has such a shape that the outer circumference of the section in the horizontal direction has a nearly arc shape. It can be installed at a corner of mutually adjacent walls of a room or on a wall. In this constitution, the heat exchanged wind reaches uniformly all parts of the room, and the comfort is notably enhanced. At the same time, generation of unusual sound is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6145065
Abstract: A current problem is that when a DRAM is to be accessed through a data bus, the DRAM is accessed independently of a bank, a row address, etc., and therefore, is inefficient. To solve this problem, an address bus and a data bus are connected to a main memory part independently of each other, a temporary memory part for holding a plurality of addresses in advance is disposed on the address bus side and holds addresses for every access to the main memory part regardless of transfer of data, thereby pipelining address inputting cycles. Further, for the purpose of an effective operation of the main memory part, using the addresses which are held, the addresses are rearranged in such a manner that addresses with the same row addresses become continuous to each other, or when there are not addresses with the same row addresses, addresses different banks from each other become continuous to each other, and the memory is thereafter accessed.

  • Patent number: 6141791
Abstract: On receiving a target address specification from a programmer, an execution code reconversion unit reconverts an operation code of an execution code loaded in the specified address to a mnemonic code. When the execution code includes a subconstant as an operand, a constant restoration unit detects constant division information that shows the subconstant included in the execution code in a debug information storage unit, in order to specify the long-word constant from which the subconstant has been generated. The constant restoration unit then replaces the subconstant with the long-word constant. As a result, the mnemonic code is displayed with the long-word constant.

  • Patent number: 6138663
Abstract: This invention provides a contamination-resistant float glass showing even quality in durability and its good quality sufficienty. The film for contamination-resistance is formed only on the top-side surface of a float glass. The surface, free from tin diffused from a float bath, can be identified by ultraviolet irradiation. A solution including a chemical adsorbent like fluoroalkyltrichlorosilane is applied to the top-side surface by a roller coater. The adsorbent can be prevented from hydrolyzing with dry air around the coating portion of the coater. Surplus solution can be removed with dry air blown on the surface to make the contamination-resistant property and the appearance better. The chemical adsorbent is bonded to the surface via a siloxane bond to form a thin film. The contamination-resistant float glass is installed in the front door of an apparatus like a toaster oven with the film facing the inside of the oven.

  • Patent number: 6140891
Abstract: A dielectric laminated filter has a first dielectric laminated block including a first strip line electrode and a second dielectric laminated block including a second strip line electrode and a coupling element, wherein the first and the second dielectric laminated blocks are laminated via a first shield electrode and wherein the first and the second strip lines are connected via a third strip line. This configuration allows the unwanted electromagnetic coupling between a resonator and the coupling element to be neglected, and uses the third strip line electrode to form the first and the second strip line electrodes so that they extend across different layers, thereby enabling the size of the resonator to be reduced. In addition, since the third strip line electrode serves to adjust the filter characteristics, a small high-performance dielectric laminated filter that can be designed easily can be provided.
