Abstract: Provided is a resource allocation method capable of improving a reception quality when connecting a plurality of sub frames into one frame and performing a communication process for each of the frames. In this method, when a sub frame #1 is transmitted, LRB is selected as a resource allocation format according to CQI fed back from a mobile station and RB having a preferable propagation quality is allocated for transmission data according to the LRB format. When a sub frame #2 is transmitted, the same resource allocation method (LRB) as the head sub frame is used and the transmission data is allocated for the same RB. When a sub frame #3 is transmitted, the resource allocation method is switched from the sub frame #1 and the sub frame #2 and the transmission data is allocated for RB by using the DRB format.

Abstract: A technique which realizes an efficient handover by reducing loads on a mobile node and an access router and communication traffics thereof while keeping a packet loss rate in a fast handover technology is disclosed, and according to that technique, a mobile node (MN 10) has a correspondence relationship between information (link layer address of an AP) on an access point (AP 22, 23, 32, 33) and information (link layer address of an AR, and a network prefix and a prefix length of a subnet 20, 30 to which the AR belongs) on an access router (AR 21, 31) having control over the AP, and, by referring to the correspondence relationship, generates an NCoA of a subnet which is the destination of movement in L2 handover between different subnets, does not change an NCoA and executes only the L2 handover in the L2 handover in the same subnet, and performs a conventional fast handover when there is no correspondence relationship relating to an AP at the destination of the L2 handover.

  • Publication number: 20070010744
Abstract: A small ultrasound diagnostic device is provided at a low cost that enables the appropriate control by a single power supply unit so as to give a predetermined transmission power to a driving waveform different for each mode without excess or deficiency and without affecting properties of the driving waveform. The ultrasound diagnostic device includes: an ultrasound generation unit (1) that transmits ultrasound; a waveform generation unit (2) that generates a single pulse or a burst pulse whose duty factor is variable in units of a time that is a period corresponding to a frequency outside a frequency band of the ultrasound generation unit (1) so as to drive the ultrasound generation unit (1); and a single power supply unit (3) that determines an amplitude of a driving waveform generated by the waveform generation unit (2). Thereby, an acoustic power of the transmitted ultrasound can be controlled without making the transmission amplitude variable.

Abstract: When etching is performed with respect to a silicon-containing material by using a dry etching apparatus having a dual power source, the application of bias power is initiated before oxidization proceeds at a surface of the silicon-containing material. Specifically, the application of the bias power is initiated before the application of source power is initiated. Alternatively, the source power and the bias power are applied such that the effective value of the source power reaches a second predetermined value after the effective value of the bias power reaches a first predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20060165091
Abstract: A UE/queue selected by a scheduler is input to an offset table (111) and a corresponding offset value is output to a CQI conversion section (112). Using this offset value, the CQI conversion section (112) converts a CQI output from a demodulation/decoding section and outputs the converted CQI to an adaptive modulation parameter determination section (113). Based on the converted CQI, the adaptive modulation parameter determination section (113) determines and outputs adaptive modulation parameters with reference to an adaptive modulation parameter table (114). Then, a transmission packet is adaptively modulated using these adaptive modulation parameters. This makes it possible to realize fast data transmission while satisfying QoS of the transmission packet.

  • Patent number: 7034622
Abstract: This invention relates to a phase-locked loop circuit and a data reproduction apparatus, which can reduce a processing time that is required for initial adjustment in the data reproduction apparatus. In a digital data reproduction apparatus having two control functions, i.e., phase and duty adjustments for binarized data, the phase comparison with one edge is performed only at the phase adjustment by means of a phase-locked loop circuit 33 having an edge switching means 4 which controls the phase comparator 1. The phase comparator 1 inputs the binarized and a bit synchronous clock, and switches the output between a comparison result with one edge, i.e., a rising edge or a falling edge of binarized data, and a comparison result with both edges.

Abstract: A conductive film for gate electrode including a polysilicon film is deposited on a semiconductor substrate, and patterned to form gate electrodes. An oxide film is formed on each side face of at least the polysilicon film, and by nitriding at least the surface portion of the oxide film, a nitride oxide film is formed on each side face of the gate electrodes. An interlayer insulating film is then deposited, and contact holes are formed through the interlayer insulating film. The existence of the nitride oxide film suppresses variation and reduction in size due to oxidation and etching of the gate side faces during resist removal and washing.

  • Patent number: RE42222
Abstract: Phase-change type, reversible optical information recording medium, being possible for recording, reproducing, erasing, and rewriting of information, by use of a laser beam. This invention, consists of recording thin film of ternary elements, for example, containing Ge, Te, Sb/or Bi or quaternary elements containing the fourth element of Se with which a part of Te is replaced, which is established on such surface—flat substrates as glass or plastics. In this case, the component ratio of Te and Se is selected not to be excess for other elements, such as Ge, Sb/or Bi so as to be fixed as stable compounds of stoichiometric compositions of GeTe, Sb2Te3/or Bi2Te3, or GeSe, Sb2Se3/Bi2Se3 when crystallized. Strictly speaking, a concentration of each component is selected to have proper ratio of the number of atoms each other so as to represent whole composition as the sum of each component. By this treatment, it is possible to have high crystallization speed and long cyclability of recording/erasing.
