  • Publication number: 20050216185
Abstract: The present invention provides a travel direction device in which a user can listen to voice directions or warning voice direction about a traveling route. The travel direction device according to the present invention sets a direction about the traveling route, and if the user drives the same traveling route a plurality of times, the direction is given less frequently than a number of times the user drives the traveling route. Accordingly, the voice direction is not given all the time, thus not annoying for the user who uses the same route repeatedly. Consequently, the user would not turn off the voice direction function itself, and thus, the voice direction function can be used effectively.

  • Patent number: 5775125
Abstract: An integrated air conditioner is provided which realizes an improvement in the indoor- and outdoor-side ventilating circuits, an enhancement in air quantity performance, a reduction in noise, an enhancement in heat exchanging ability, compacting, and simplification in an installing operation. The integrated air conditioner has an indoor-side ventilating circuit (4) which is constituted by an indoor-side heat exchanger (5), two indoor-side air blowers (6) with centrifugal fans, an indoor-side suction port (2), and an indoor-side blowoff port (3); an outdoor-side ventilating circuit (9) which is constituted by an outdoor-side heat exchanger (10), an outdoor-side air blower (6) with an axial-flow fan, an outdoor-side suction port (7), and an outdoor-side blowoff port (8); ducts for leading the indoor-side suction port (2) and the indoor-side blowoff port (3) to an indoor side; and a compressor (12).

  • Patent number: 5534831
Abstract: A strip-line filter is provided with upper- and lower-stage resonators having the same electromagnetic characteristics. Each of the resonators has a one-wavelength square-shaped strip line and four open-end transmission lines connected to four coupling points A,C,B and D (or E,G,F and H) of each resonator which are spaced 90 degrees in electric length in that order. The square-shaped strip lines have a pair of parallel coupling lines closely placed in parallel to each other to electromagnetically couple the resonators. Therefore, the filter can be manufactured in a small size. A first microwave resonated in each resonator is electromagnetically influenced by two open-end transmission lines connected to two coupling points A and B (or E and F), and a second microwave resonated in each resonator is electromagnetically influenced by two open-end transmission lines connected to two coupling points C and D (or G and H).

  • Patent number: 5530777
Abstract: An optical modulation device includes a substrate, and a dielectric member having first and second surfaces opposite to each other. An optical waveguide extends on the first surface of the dielectric member and exhibits an electro-optical effect. First and second parallel lines are electromagnetically coupled with each other, and are of a microstrip line structure. The first line has a first line member and a ground plane, and the second line has a second line member and the ground plane. The first line member and the second line member extend on the first surface of the dielectric member and extend at opposite sides of the optical waveguide respectively. The ground plane extends between the substrate and the second surface of the dielectric member.

  • Patent number: 5528055
Abstract: A thin-film transistor of an inverted-staggered structure includes a semiconductor layer with a channel portion, a protective insulating film extending on the channel portion of the semiconductor layer, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. The protective insulating film has a rectangular shape with four corners, and each of two of the corners overlaps one of the source electrode and the drain electrode while two others of the corners overlap neither the source electrode nor the drain electrode. The thin-film transistor may be modified so that one of the corners overlaps one of the source electrode and the drain electrode while three others of the corners overlap neither the source electrode nor the drain electrode.
