Abstract: A leak rate testing system for pressured containers such as inhalers includes a test chamber holding the pressurized containers and accumulating compounds leaking from the containers. A sample cell receives the compounds from the chamber and a spectroscopy system obtains spectral responses of compounds in the sample cell so that a controller can determine leak rates over time.
Abstract: Indoor air is purified using a purifying solution in an arrangement capable of removing formaldehyde and other pollutants, such as, for example, particulates. The arrangement can prevent re-vaporization of volatile compounds and can generate air that has been humidified or dehumidified. In one approach, incoming air is contacted with the purifying solution in a packed bed.
