Abstract: A tablet case includes a housing sized to receive the tablet computer, and a kickstand assembly that includes a locking high-friction hinge mounted on the housing. A kickstand member is attached to the high-friction hinge at a proximal end. The kickstand member is able to move between a collapsed configuration wherein the kickstand member abuts the housing, and at least one extended configuration wherein the kickstand member is axially rotated to extends outwardly from the housing for supporting the housing. Only friction from the locking high-friction hinge prevents axial rotation of the kickstand member.

Abstract: A protective cover for a laptop computer has a top cover having a planar top body made of acrylic that extends to an outer perimeter, the outer perimeter being made of thermoplastic polyurethane having a durometer of 85-90D. A downwardly extending wall extends downwardly from the top edge and the pair of side edges of the outer perimeter. A slide rail extends inwardly from the downwardly extending wall at the pair of side edges, wherein the planar top body, the downwardly extending wall, and the slide rails together are sized and shaped to slidingly receive the screen portion of the laptop computer when the screen portion is inserted from the bottom edge.

Abstract: A protective cover for a laptop computer having a screen portion has a main body that extends to an outer perimeter, the outer perimeter including a downwardly extending wall which extends downwardly from the outer perimeter. The cover further has a plurality of tabs extending inwardly from the downwardly extending wall of the top cover, adjacent the outer perimeter, adapted for attaching the top cover to the screen portion of the laptop computer. The main body, the plurality of tabs, and the downwardly extending wall are all of integral construction, and further have a perimeter covering that covers at least a portion of the main body and the downwardly extending wall, the perimeter covering being formed of a resilient material.

Abstract: A protective cover is for use with a hybrid computer which includes a display that is rotationally mounted to a keyboard. Relative rotation between the display and keyboard configures the hybrid computer as a laptop or a tablet computer. The protective cover includes raised regions and recessed regions. When the hybrid computer is configured as a tablet, the raised regions are received into the recessed regions. This allows outer housing surfaces of the display and keyboard to be in close proximity.
