    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for production of transgenic plants and/or plant cells with increased pathogenic resistance, whereby the transgenic plants or plant cells have an altered content or an altered activity of at least one actin-depolymerising factor (ADF) with relation to the wild type. The invention also relates to the use of nucleic acids, coding for at least one ADF, for the production of transgenic plants or plant cells with increased pathogenic resistance and, furthermore, nucleic acid sequences coding for an ADF.
