    Abstract: The invention relates to polynucleotides and polypeptides as defined in the claims for use in the treatment of a disorder associated with abnormal telomerase activity and/or abnormal telomere length in comparison to healthy subjects in a subject. Moreover, the present invention provides a method of identifying an agent capable of decreasing telomerase activity and/or telomere length, and a method of classifying a cancer as a telomerase-negative cancer, as defined in the claims.
