Abstract: A modular toy station is transformable from a closed storage configuration to an open in-use configuration providing a play surface. The station includes a box section and a platform. The box section is hingedly connected to the platform so as to pivot from a storage configuration to an in-use play configuration. The platform has features typically like those of a service station extending from it, which are concealed by the box section in the storage configuration and which extend upwardly from the platform in the in-use play configuration. The toy station further includes a recessed ledge at an edge of the platform configured to support a tab of an ancillary item such as a ramp joining piece.

Abstract: A brake assembly for a toy vehicle includes first and second wheel assemblies mounted on a axle, a cam which is rotatable with the first wheel assembly, and a brake member which is activatable by the cam to engage the second wheel assembly. An orthogonal gear assembly, including first and second gear members, drives the cam. A shaft member is disposed orthogonal to the axle and bears the cam and second gear member. The first gear member is mounted an the axle. The shaft is pivotally mounted and movable between a first position in which the first and second gear members are engaged and a second position in which the first and second gear members are disengaged.

Abstract: A display stand comprising a body formed by two shells and a platform plate for supporting to display an article. The plate has opposite sides, and the shells are pivotably connected to the plate. Each shell includes a pair of opposed walls to define an open hollow structure which embraces a respective opposite side of the plate and has a pair of first and second adjoining open flat sides extending at substantially 90° to each other. The shells are pivotable between a first position in which their first open sides are closed by the plate and a second position in which their second open sides are closed by the plate.

Abstract: A toy carrousel comprising a body which is formed by a stationary base part and a top part supported above the base part for rotation about a vertical axis. The base part includes a vertical shaft having an upper end reaching into the top part. The top part supports at least one decorative figure atop. The toy carrousel includes a drive mechanism provided in the base part for rotating the top part, which is formed by a motor and a train of gears to be driven by the motor to rotate the top part. The toy carrousel further includes a drive transmission mechanism provided at the upper end of the shaft for setting the decorative figure into individual motion relative to the top part upon rotation of the top part.
