Abstract: A torsion suspension assembly comprises a first housing and a first biasing body within the first housing, a second housing and at least a second biasing body within the second housing. A shaft has a first end supporting a suspension arm adapted to support a wheel or wheel assembly, an elongated body of the shaft operatively within both the first biasing body and the second biasing body. A preconstraining arrangement is provided such that the shaft is in an equilibrium condition when the first biasing body and the second biasing body apply opposite torsion forces on the shaft.
