In accordance with one embodiment, a method is provided comprising: providing a window for display via the viewer comprising a first view pane displaying textual information comprising an identifier for the connector and a second view pane displaying media content illustrating the connector and pins; receiving a selection of the identifier; and in response: generating and providing a preview window for the connector comprising pin information; receiving a selection of a pair of pins from the pin information by the user; and in response, causing the pair to be displayed using a highlighting format in the media content, and causing the remaining pins to be displayed in a deemphasized format.

The supplemental communication sessions may occur via a unique URL generated for a call and provided to a mobile device participating in the telephone call. By accessing the URL, the mobile device user has access to content tailored specifically to the telephone call, such as a dynamically updated indication of a callback time estimate if the mobile device user requested a callback when a representative of a third party is available to participate in a callback.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure involve providing an augmented reality environment to a user interacting with technical data associated with a powered asset. In various embodiments, a digital model of the powered asset is displayed via an augmented reality user interface that displays the model superimposed over the user's line of vision to simulate the augmented reality environment. Input is received from the user selecting a topic of a component of the model that comprises instructions for performing a task related to the component. Responsive to receiving the input, the instructions are displayed on the interface and the instructions identify a tool used in performing the task. Responsive to the user moving her line of vision to view a non-powered asset in which the tool is located, a visual representation of the tool is displayed on the interface superimposed over the non-powered asset viewable in the user's line of vision.
