  • Patent number: 8314764
Abstract: An amplifying circuit of a display device including a plurality of pixels includes an input unit, a bias unit, and an output unit. The input unit is coupled between a first power source for supplying a first voltage and a second power source for supplying a second voltage, receives a first input signal and a second input signal, and is controlled by the first and second input signals. The bias unit receives a bias voltage for operating the input unit, and includes a first node and a second node controllable by the input unit. The output unit applies an output voltage to a pixel by using a first output transistor turned on/off by a signal applied to the first node and a second output transistor turned on/off by a signal applied to the second node, and the first output transistor is a different type to the second output transistor.

  • Publication number: 20120086681
Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a plurality of driving apparatuses one-chipped by including a signal controller controlling a data driver in the data driver applying data voltage to the corresponding data line. Each of the plurality of driving apparatuses includes a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal. The first signal terminal outputs control data for controlling image display to an adjacent signal controller in a first direction for a first period and receives a mode detection signal for determining a final operation mode from the adjacent signal controller in the first direction for a second period after the first period. The second signal terminal outputs the mode detection signal to the adjacent signal controller in a second direction different from the first direction for the first period and receives the control data from the adjacent signal controller in the second direction for the second period.

  • Publication number: 20100231577
Abstract: An output voltage amplifier, and a driving device of a liquid crystal display using the same are disclosed. The output voltage amplifier includes: an amplifying unit to generate first and second signals corresponding to a gray voltage input to a first input terminal and a feedback signal input to a second input terminal, and to output a first voltage by using first and second switches driven to be on or off according to the first and second signals; an output unit to apply the first and second data signals to the first and second pixels by using third and fourth switches turned on or off according to the first and second signals; and a feedback circuit unit to selectively supply one of the first voltage and the first and second data signals to the second input terminal. Heating characteristics and a slew rate can be improved.
