    Abstract: A wind direction indicator is disclosed having a rotatable wind vane 1 and a support 10 for connection to the mast of a yacht. The vane 1 is connected to the support 10 by means of a gimbal mechanism 6-9 and a stabilizing weight 4 is connected to the gimbal mechanism diametrically opposite the vane 1.
