Abstract: Methods and systems providing access to integrated communications services are disclosed. A notification of a call to a user is received at a device associated with the user, the device being connected to a data network and including a base unit, a handset, and a user interface, wherein the device is determined based on retrieved data corresponding to the user, and the retrieved data was retrieved using information pertaining to the call. Input from the user indicative of a response to the notification is also received at the device. Response information reflective of the response to the notification is then sent to the server, wherein the server instructs a service control point to connect the call based on the response to the notification.

Abstract: A managed service may include first logic to receive identification information from a mobile device and send an authorization to a transaction device indicating that the mobile device is identified, the identified mobile device to participate in a transaction with the transaction device. The first logic may receive payment information from the mobile device during the transaction and send payment to the transaction device on behalf of the mobile device during the transaction. The managed service may include second logic to determine whether the identity information is valid by comparing the identity information to stored identity information and generate the authorization when the identity information is valid. The second logic may process the payment information on behalf of the mobile device, allocate a debit or a credit to an account maintained on behalf of the mobile device, and send the payment to the first logic.

Abstract: A managed service may include first logic to receive authentication information from a user terminal on behalf of a user, and receive user information on behalf of the user when the user terminal is authenticated via the authentication information. The first logic may send a portion of the user information to a mobile wallet application operating on a mobile terminal related to the user, and may receive updated user information from the mobile terminal, where the updated user information identifies a change to the portion of the user information, the change based on an operation performed via the mobile terminal on behalf of the user. The managed service may include second logic to store the user information in a server virtual wallet application on behalf of the user, retrieve the portion of the user information from the server virtual wallet application for the sending, and store the updated user information in the server virtual wallet application.

The portable device may include near field communication logic to send the identity information to the transaction device, to receive transaction information during a transaction, to send payment information to the transaction device, and to receive the completed transaction information.

Abstract: A managed service for a near field transaction that may include a server to register a wireless device with the managed service, provide authentication information to the wireless device for use in establishing an identity of the wireless device. The server may provide authorization information to a register on behalf of the wireless device to establish the identity to the register, where the identity, when valid, allows the wireless device to participate in the near field transaction via a secure near field communication session with the register, receive transaction information from the register or the wireless device, and store the transaction information with a transaction identifier, where the transaction identifier is used to recall the transaction information on behalf of the register or the wireless device.

Abstract: A managed service may include first logic to provide authentication information to a device on behalf of a mobile terminal to identify the mobile terminal for a near field transaction with the device, and receive transaction information from the device, where the transaction information is produced by the device on behalf of the mobile terminal. The first logic may further receive user information via the mobile terminal, the user information identifying characteristics of a user of the mobile terminal. The managed service may include second logic to produce a result that comprises information mined from the transaction information or user information, where the result identifies characteristics of the transaction or the user.

Abstract: An exemplary method and apparatus for facilitating contact sharing between users of a communication network are described. The method may include maintaining contact information in first and second address books associated with first and second users, respectively, and forwarding, from the first user to the second user, a request to copy contact information from the first address book to the second address book. The method may further include receiving a confirmation from the second user in response to the request, and copying the contact information from the first address book to the second address book in response to the confirmation.
