  • Patent number: 7788953
Abstract: A double face, weft-knit textile garment. The garment includes: a first face having a printed portion; and a second face having a printed portion, wherein the fabric density of the fabric forming the garment is greater than about 5 oz. per square yard, thereby substantially preventing grin through from at least one printed portion to the opposite face. In one embodiment of the invention, a plurality of openings are formed in both faces for breathability. In addition, the garment may further include at least one body anchor for facilitating attachment of the garment to the wearer.

  • Patent number: 7578148
Abstract: A color-fast material and method of making same, the material having a combination of a first component with substantial stretch properties and a second component with substantially lower stretch properties than those of the first component wherein the material is a fabric manufactured by knitting, weaving, non-woven or other fabric manufacturing process and the material is dyed prior to fabric formation for providing a material having superior color-fastness and color-uniformity in both stretched and relaxed states.

  • Patent number: 6994724
Abstract: Single tubular woven or bifurcated prostheses are disclosed having varying diameters and tapered transitions. The prostheses comprise a seam along the tapered edges, thereby providing a substantially fluid-tight transition between sections or extents of the prostheses. The seam may be located at an edge where fabric of the prosthesis tapers from one diameter to a different diameter and/or at a point where the prosthesis splits such as a bifurcation. The seamed crotch may be used for tapered and non-tapered bifurcated grafts. The seam may be woven directly on a weaving loom or joined together after weaving is completed.

  • Patent number: 6880893
Abstract: An adjustable seat belt rerouter system includes a cord, a cord length adjustment mechanism, and a shoulder belt guide. The shoulder belt guide is slidingly connectable to the shoulder belt. The seat belt rerouter system includes a means for attaching a first end of the cord to the shoulder belt guide and a means for attaching a second end of the cord to a vehicle attachment point. When the cord first end is attached to the shoulder belt guide and the cord second end is attached to the vehicle attachment point, the cord length is adjustable with the cord length adjustment mechanism for rerouting and holding the shoulder belt away from a vehicle occupant's neck and face.

  • Patent number: 5339657
Abstract: A warp knit net fabric is disclosed in which the number of stitches in each leg and in each join of a diamond pattern is varied to vary the size of the openings defined by the legs. An array of yarn ends are knit on a Raschel warp knitting machine and the formation of stitches of the legs is driven from one pattern chain drum and the formation of stitches of the joins is driven from another pattern chain drum. Switching from drum to drum is accomplished by a programmable controller.
